Maserati MC20 Convertible Teased Ahead Of Debut

Italian Automaker Maserati has teased an early prototype of the convertible version of MC20 which is supposed to unveil in next year. The Maserati MC20 will mark its name as the first open-top model of the brand after GranCabrio which was discontinued last year. Moreover, it is the first mid-engined Roadster since the 2005 production ended of the MC12 supercar.

The new livery hosted by the Maserati MC20 convertible is styled like clouds. It will feature a folding hardtop rather than fabric. Thus, the folding hardtop will increase the kerb weight of the vehicle making the MC20 convertible weigh heavier than the coupe model. Moreover, the sculpted bonnet, sleek headlights, butterfly doors, designer wheels allures Maserati Fans. The vehicle will incorporate a 10.0-inch touch screen infotainment system with Maserati connect app and Amazon Alexa.

Under the hood, the Maserati MC20 convertible is powered by a 3.0liter twin-turbo, V6 engine that can produce a maximum output of 621bhp and 730Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed DCT gearbox.

There are no Pricing details available and the convertible MC20 is expected to be unveiled by next year. As a reference, the MC20 is priced at Rs 3.65crore(ex-showroom).
