eBikeGo Launched Rugged Electric scooter In India At Rs 79,999
The electric two-wheeler mobility platform, eBikeGo has launched ‘Rugged’ electric scooter in India. Rugged electric scooters will be available in two variants G1 and G1+ respectively. The electric scooter comes with an advanced two-wheeler IoT system.
Specifications of Rugged Electric Scooter
The body of the Rugged Electric scooter is built with cradle chassis and steel frame. The Rugged electric scooter features a 3KW electric motor that can reach a top speed of 70 Kmph. The e-scooter possesses a dual 2KWh battery pack which takes 3.5 hours to charge from zero to a hundred percent. The new entrant can travel 160 km on a single charge. The scooter has a storage capacity of 30 liters. The company offers an overall warranty of three years on the vehicle, battery, and charger and seven years of warranty on the chassis
The Rugged electric scooter provides 12 built-in smart sensors which are linked directly to the Rugged app. This facility helps the users to lock and unlock the electric scooter through the app. It also provides an anti-theft feature to ensure the safety of the driver. The users can switch from one battery to another without getting out from the electric scooter.
As per the sources, the scooter was created using data obtained from millions of data points analysed by the eBikeGo artificial intelligence-driven fleet management system and EBG Matics from its B2B and B2C operations.
Price and Availability
In terms of price and availability, eBikeGo announced that deliveries for the scooter will begin in the first week of November 2021. The Rugged G1 variant of eBikeGo costs Rs.79,999 and 99,999 for Rugged G1+(ex-showroom). The electric scooter can be booked through Rugged’s official website for Rs.499. The reservation amount is refundable in case of cancellation. Customers can avail of various subsidies offered by the central and state government with the purchase of the eBikeGo Rugged electric scooter. Moreover, customers are free of paying road fees.
