Piaggio India has launched the Vespa 75th anniversary edition in the Indian market. The Vespa 75th edition comes with some cosmetic updates and a welcome kit to brighten the fans of the Vespa brand.
The Vespa 75th anniversary edition features a Glossy Metallic Giallo colour scheme. The scooter sports a “75” badge on the front storage compartment and a “75” numbering on side panels as well as on mudguard. It also sports grey coloured alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish. The Vespa 75th anniversary edition incorporates features including a semi-digital instrument cluster, LED lights, a USB charger, a fly screen, and more.
The 75th anniversary edition of Vespa is available with two engine options;125cc and 150cc. The 125cc version can produce a maximum output of 9.93bhp at 7,500 rpm and 9.6Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The 150cc model can produce a maximum output of 10.4 bhp at 7,600 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. Transmission duties are carried by a CVT on both engines.
In terms of price and availability, the Vespa 75th anniversary edition can be booked for a token amount of Rs.5,000 at Vespa dealerships and through the company’s e-commerce portal. The prices of Vespa starting at Rs.1.26 lakh for the 125cc model and going up to Rs. 1.39lakh for 150cc (ex-showroom, Pune). It will be sold across 190cities through Piaggio’s 275 metroplex dealerships.
