Audi has released a teaser of its flagship e- tron GT in India. Audi India on its official Instagram posted a teaser with a glimpse of the e-tron GT’s headlamp .The e-tron GT is offered in two variants namely Quattro and RS. The brand has not yet revealed which variant they plan to bring to the Indian market.
The all-electric four-door coupe’s line-up is based on Porsche Taycan. The Audi e-tron GT has a sloping roofline, a sculpted hood, and a grille that is replaced by the brand’s signature e-tron pattern panel. The Audi e-tron GT gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen supports natural voice commands. As far as connectivity is concerned, it is equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot and an e-Tron route planner.
The e-tron GT has two electric motors and an 85 kWh lithium-ion battery. Both motors produce a maximum output of 475hp and 630Nm of peak torque. The e-tron GT Quattro goes from 0 to 100 kph in 4.1seconds and hit a top speed of 245kmph. The RS variant on the other hand, goes from 0 to 100kmph in 3.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 250kmph
In terms of price and availability, The Audi e-tron GT is expected to launch in India by October 2021 as a completely built unit (CBU). The Audi’s electric sedan is expected to price around RS.2 crore(ex-showroom)
