New Skoda Kushaq Suv Launch in India At Starting Price of 10.50 Lakh

Skoda’s new mid- sized suv is the first model to be based on MQB-AO-IN platform which will underpin Volkswagon models in India. Skoda kushaq competes with its rivals Hyundai creta, kia seltos,Nissan kicks,Tata Harrier and Renault duster etc. Kushaq comes in three variants active,ambition and style in different colours such as candy white,reflex silver, carbon steel, honey orange and tornado red.

Specifications of Skoda Kushaq

It is designed with a plenty of cuts and creases along the body. It has  a chrome accented butterfly grille flanked by LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLS.

It has a range of features including a two spoke steering wheel, 10- inch screen infotainment system android auto and apple card play, a wireless phone charger, a 6 speaker sound system, with ambient lighting, a single pane sunroof , rain sensing wipers,push button start, vented front seats,electronic stability control and cruise control.

Under the hood, the latest Skoda kushaq offers two turbo petrol engines; 113 bhp /175 NM of 1.0 litre and 148bhp/250 nm of 1.05 litre units. 1.0 engine consists of a 6 speed manual gearbox along with optional 6 speed automatic transmission whereas the 1.5 litreTSI engine has a gearbox of 7 speed DSG. As far as the dimension is concerned,  the mid size Suv  is 4221 mm in length and 1760 mm wide 1612 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2651mm and 188 mm high ground clearance. It has a 385 liter boot capacity too.

Safety is ensured with six airbags, auto vipers and headlamps,tyre pressure monitoring system, multi collision brake,ABS with EBD, hill hold control, a rear view camera with parking sensors. 

Pricing and availability

In terms of Price and availability, the new entrant is priced  between 10.49 lakhs and range upto 17.59 lakhs. 1.5 liter Skoda Kushaq will be delivered from July 12 2021.
