German Automaker, Audi has announced the launch of  new Audi Q7 SUV in India in January 2022. The luxury automaker giant has already started assembling the new Q7 parts at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Well, the second-generation SUV was discontinued from the Indian market in April 2020 due to the BS6 norms and now the luxury SUV is ready to come back with a host of cosmetic tweaks, new features and in a petrol-only model.

Specifications of New Audi Q7

The Audi Q7 SUV comes with a new octagonal grille with six vertical chrome slats which is flanked by sleeker Matrix LED headlamps with signature LED DRLs. Other notable changes included are the all-around matte silver cladding, dual-tone rear bumper with air inlets, redesigned tailgate, and new 19-inch alloy wheels.

The new Audi Q7 Facelift incorporates several new features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8.6-inch screen for the climate controls, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charger, Bang and Olufsen 3D advanced sound system, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, and four-zone, automatic climate control.

Under the hood, Audi Q7 is expected to come with a new 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged petrol engine that is likely to produce a maximum output of 335bhp and 500Nm of peak torque. The engine is likely to mate with an eight-speed automatic transmission and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

As far as safety is concerned, the new Audi Q7 is equipped with multiple airbags, park assists, blind-spot assistance ORVMs, a tyres pressure monitoring system, and adaptive cruise control. Upon launch, The Audi Q7 Facelift will likely to horn with BMW X5, Mercedes Benz, GLE, Land Rover Discovery, Volvo XC90, etc.
