Flipkart To Launch Electric Vehicles In India By 2030

Electric vehicles are in high demand as they help to get rid of carbon emissions and allow companies to cut down the cost quickly as they don’t run on gas. So other companies are also expected soon.

One of such great e-Commerce companies in India is Flipkart which is planning to switch on to electric vehicles for deliveries. The owner of Walmart company has revealed on Wednesday that it will bring on board over 25000 electric vehicles. This shows that the company will smoothly shift to electric vehicles within the next the 10 years. The company has announced that it will build more vehicles in partnership with hero Electric, Mahindra electric and Piaggio.

This disclosure leads Amazon India to declare that it will launch 10000 electric auto-rickshaws in India which will reduce carbon emission and embrace renewable energy.

Flipkart will include two-wheeler, three-wheeler and four-wheeler vehicles across the country. In several cities, two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles are seen.

The name of three of the electric vehicles is Hero Electric Nyx series which has a driving range of up to 150 kilometres on a single charge, Treo Zor by Mahendra electric which can carry a maximum load of 550 kg and  Piaggio Ape E Xtra FX.
