Mercedes Benz And Google Collaborates For In-car Navigation

The very popular automobile maker Mercedes Benz has collaborated with the Mountain View company Google to bring in-car navigation and the same will come with the power of the Google Gemini family of LLM. This will transform how drivers interact with the vehicles.

The Mercedes Benz user experience (MBUX) Virtual Assistant will allow you to understand and respond to natural language queries that will enable drivers intuitive way to access information.

The usage of Google Maps Platform data, the system can offer real-time updates on traffic, points of interest, among others. Both Mercedes and Google has promised to offer instant and accurate responses.

The capability is powered by Google Cloud’s Automotive AI Agent and the Automotive AI Agent can engage in complex, multi-turn dialogues, retaining context and memory of previous interactions.

The collaboration of both brands will be bringing the new AI-powered Point-of-Interest search and navigation feature and the same will be official in the new Mercedes-Benz CLA later this year.
