Elon Musk Reveals How New EV Named Tesla Cybertruck Opens Without Door Handles

Elon Musk, founder and CEO of the company has revealed that the Tesla Cyberbuck will not have door handles like other vehicles. The car will recognize its owner and opens the door itself.  Musk didn’t mention the mechanism that will replace the conventional door handles. This might be carried out through mobile key technology or synchronisation between users smartphones and the system of the vehicle. It’s not unfamiliar as Tesla has already introduced it in the Model X, a few years ago. Musk also mentioned that the production’s unconventional design will remain the same as the one that was introduced back in 2019.

Tesla Cybertruck will be equipped with a four-wheel steering system resulting in a feature similar to the Hummer Ev’s Crab mode. It will improve its performance on tight runs and provide nimble handling.

The Tesla Cybertruck is claimed to be a better utility than a truck and provides equivalent performance to a sportscar. The new variant is capable of covering 100kmph in just 6.5 seconds and a range of 400km.

Musk admitted that the Cybertruck might be an utter flop but he doesn’t care about it as he loves its trapezoid like design. However, a few minor cosmetic tweaks will be made to make it slightly better.

The new Tesla Cybertruck will push first deliveries to 2022 as Tesla is still working on building Gigafactory in Texas. The company would face several challenges due to global semiconductor shortage since the electric pick up truck is designed with an exoskeleton and pandemic still being active.
