Benelli has launched a new adventure tourer, TRK 251 in India at a starting price of Rs 2.51 lakh(ex-showroom). The Benelli TRK 251 is the first BS6 compliant bike in the brand’s line-up and will be available with a three-year unlimited-kilometer warranty as standard. The new entrant will act as a rival to KTM 250 adventurer and Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Specifications of Benelli TRK 251

Benelli TRK 251 is designed with a steel trellis frame suspended on a USD fork and mono-shock. The motor vehicle runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with a 110mm front tyre and 150mm rear tyre. It has a dry weight of 164 kg. Braking duties are carried out by a 280mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc. Other features which add colour to the Benelli TRK 251 are the digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, windshield, and dual-channel ABS. Moreover, Benelli TRK 251 is available in three colour options; Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Grey.

Benelli TRK 251 is powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder 249cc engine that can produce a maximum output of 25.8 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 21.1 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The TRK 251 has an 18- liter fuel tank and 170 mm of ground clearance.

Price and Availability

In terms of price and availability, Benelli had already opened bookings earlier this month with a down payment of Rs 6,000 and it is expected to start deliveries from January 2022
