Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition Goes Official

Yamaha the very popular bike maker since the early days and the company has announced a new bike for the Off-road purpose and the same is dubbed as Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition. Well, it is coming with the 1980’s inspired paint job along with many accessories that are directly coming from the Yamaha parts catalogue and that includes skid plate and more. The popular bike maker has launched the off-road bike in Europe and we don’t have any information about the availability of the same in the Indian market. Everything about Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition

The newly announced Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition is powered by the same 689 cc, along with the parallel-twin engine and that is capable to offer 72.4 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 68 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The new Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition also claims to be a fun, and the same also features nimble adventure touring motorcycle, and that will provide awesome off-road capability. The bike also sports a standard ABS, which is capable to switch for off-road use.

It is also coming with the special blue and yellow livery paint job and that generates nostalgia to the Yamaha rally bikes as the similar design bikes were ridden by Jean-Claude Olivier and Serge Bacou in the 1983 and 1984 editions of the Dakar Rally.

The Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition also coming with a new 4 mm thick aluminium bash plate which is meant to protect the engine underbelly and lower frame rails. It also features a black aluminium radiator guard, and an aluminium laser-cut chain protector. Speaking about the riding position, the bike offers a one-piece seat and the height is raised by 20 mm over stock. The bike also features 21-inch front and 18-inch wire spoked wheels, and the company has also added many accessories in the bike from its catalogue and that includes an upgraded skid-plate, Akrapovic end can, rally seat and guards for chain and radiator.

Regarding the availability of the Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Edition, Yamaha will sell the same in the European market from next month and we don’t have any information about the availability of the same in the market of India.
