The new entrant is the first motorcycle under the brand’s race performance series and its production is limited to 200 units across the country. The New TVS Apache RTR 165 RP comes with some cosmetic changes and new features. The motorcycle sports all-new TVS Racing decals which give a sporty appeal to the vehicle. The new entrant is equipped with features like a Race-Tuned slipper clutch, adjustable clutch, brake levers, a muscular fuel tank with 15 years logo of Apache, and a new seat pattern. The motorbike mounts on a double-cradle frame and rides on 17-inch red alloy wheels.

Under the hood, TVS Apache RTR 165 RP is powered by a 164.9 cc single-cylinder four-valve engine that can produce a maximum output of 19.2bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2Nm of peak torque at 8,750 rpm. The engine consists of a new cylinder head with a 35 per cent increase in intake and twin electrode spark plugs. Moreover, the valves of the engine are controlled by Hi-Lift Hi-Duration cams and dual spring actuators. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

As far as safety is concerned, TVS Apache RTR 165 RP is equipped with disc brakes on both front and rear wheels and a single-channel ABS. The suspension duties ate carried out by showa’s telescopic forks on the front and a mono-shock unit on the rear side.
