The Madras based two-wheeler maker has decided to extend its portfolio by introducing a number of bikes in 2022. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is one among them, which has been spied ahead of launch in February 2022. The Scram 411 will be the first motorcycle to be launched by Royal Enfield in the coming year.

According to the spied images, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is solely a road-based version of the adventure motorcycle Royal Enfield Himalayan. The new entrant seen finished in a new red and black dual-tone colour scheme. The brand could be deleting the windscreen, the side racks and a high mounted flying fender replacing it with a traditional front fender.  Royal Enfield has also changed the fuel tank to conventional tank shrouds in place of the jerry can holders on the sides. 

The new SUV comes up with a muscular fuel tank, a stepped-up seat, pillion grab rail, short visor, spoked wheels, upswept exhaust, circular headlight and mirrors. Moreover, twin-pod instrument cluster and LED lighting allures the customers to get hold of the new entrant without thinking twice.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is expected to be powered by the same engine as the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a BS6 compliant 411cc single-cylinder engine that can produce a maximum output of 24bhp and 32Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

As far as safety is concerned, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 will be equipped with disc brakes on both front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS. Suspension duties of the vehicle will be carried out by 41mm telescopic forks on the front and a mono-shock unit on the rear side.

Price and Availability

In terms of price and availability, The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is expected to officially launch in February 2022 and will be priced around Rs 1.90 lakh(ex-showroom).
