The very popular automobile maker Tata Motors has officially launched the latest Tata Sierra in the markets of India and this vehicle is a 5-door SUV. The newly announced Tata Sierra comes with a boxy silhouette along with a high-set bonnet, squarish wheel arches, a thick B-pillar, and the car also has a kink in the window line that resembles the 1991 Tata Sierra.
Tata has also tried to mimic the curved rear glass, while the spare wheel is now tucked under the floor and the gloss-black cladding is currently used all around the body. The vehicle also comes with LED light bars along with vertically stacked LED highlights, flush-type door handles with illumination, and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Tata is also offering the vehicle with a powered tailgate and the Tata Sierra offers 622L boot space (1,257L with rear seats folded).
Now let’s talk about the interior, the Tata Sierra features a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display along with a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, and the vehicle also has a 12.3-inch passenger screen with wireless headphones. It also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The vehicle also features a head-up display, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, a dashboard-mounted sound bar, and its supports Dolby Atmos surround sound technology as well as Dolby Atmos surround sound. The Tata Sierra also comes with ventilated seats at the front, dual-zone AC, and a wireless phone charger as well.
You will also get a beautiful panoramic sunroof along with Boss mode for the front passenger seat, and AC vents. It also features twin 65W USB-C charging points at the back, rear sunshades, and a 2-step recline for the seats.
Regarding the safety features, the latest Tata Sierra also comes with 6 airbags, ISOFIX seat anchors, electronic parking brake, and all-wheel disc brakes. The vehicle also supports a 360-degree camera setup, front parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and Level 2+ADAS suite.
The newly announced Tata Sierra comes with the new 1.5-litre GDi turbo petrol producing 160hp and 255Nm along with a 6-speed AT. The vehicle also features a 1.5-litre NA petrol that produces 106hp and 145Nm, with either a 6-speed MT or a 7-speed DCA. For diesel users, the vehicle features a 1.5-litre unit producing 116hp and 260/280Nm, with either a 6-speed MT or AT option. The company is also offering an AWD variant for this SUV later.
Talking about the pricing and availability, the latest Tata Sierra is available in Coorg Clouds, Pristine White, Pure Grey, Andaman Adventure, Munnar Mist, and Bengal Rouge colour options. The car comes with a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and the bookings will open on 16th December. The company will start deliveries from January 15 next year.
