Santosh Iyer the vice president sales and marketing of Mercedes Benz India confirm that the company is all set to launch the Mercedes Benz EQC Electric on the roads of India and he said that it’s just a matter of time to arrive the vehicle on the ports of the company and then Mercedes will launch the same in the market of India. The upcoming car in the Indian market is the first electric SUV of the carmaker.

Its coming with dual electric motors and that is capable to provide power of 402 BHP along with the 765 Nm of peak torque, the duel electric motors are placed at the front and rear axles which will help the Mercedes Benz EQC Electric with an all-wheel-drive setup. Mercedes claims that the battery package of the vehicle is and 80 KW unit and that is capable to provide a driving range of 450 to 471 kilometres when the same is charged fully.

There is no information about the pricing of the upcoming car in the market of India but it is expected that the company will launch the same with the price tag of ₹1.25 crores.
