Maruti Suzuki Hikes Prices By 1.7% Across Models

On January 15,2022 the regulatory filing made at BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) Maruti Suzuki India has been informed that its price increased by 1.7 percent across all models.

Maruti Suzuki India already announced to mount up the price from 15 January 2022. Still , the Indo- Japanese  carmaker did not  disclosed the allowed amount of the price increase being at that time . But the regulatory filing made at BSE Maruti Suzuki India has been informed that its price increased by 1.7% across all models on January 15,2022 because the company has faced the amount of input cost being enhanced.

Last month , our communication  dated on December 2, 2021,today  the company  announced price change across models yet to be paid to hike in various input costs. the price has been stand up the weighted average in ex-showroom prices (Delhi) across all models is 1.7% percent. Maruti Suzuki India said that the new prices tried out from January 15 2022, due to the regulatory filing at the BSE.

The price hike has been decided to pass on some impact of the above additional cost to customers and carmakers vehicles rising inputs cost various, the cost to be continued. this is the second hike being declared by the car maker in the last six months. In September 2021, Maruti has increased its car prices by 1.9 percent  for selected models, as the same reason.

Maruti Suzuki was facing the shortage of electronic components that affect the production of new vehicles , as the brand being operated at 85% capacity. The automaker sold out 1,53,149 units in India to be compared to 1,60,22,6 units in December 2020. Maruti Suzuki has been big plans to introduce this year that includes the new Vitara Brezza, Baleno, refreshed XL6 , new Alto, and most likely the Jimny.
