The popular automobile maker Mahindra has officially launched the Mahindra SUV XUV400 compact electric vehicle on the roads of India and the same is also the first mainstream electric vehicle of the company as well. It is also said to be the fastest India made electric car and it is capable to offer 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds. The top speed of the vehicle is set at 150 kmph and the company has also introduced the electric vehicle with superb design and also includes a sunroof. Specifications of Mahindra SUV XUV400

Let’s start with the most important factor and that is the battery, the newly introduced Mahindra SUV XUV400 features two battery pack options, 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh. Both of them are coupled with a front-mounted 150hp (310Nm) electric motor. The 34.5kWh battery model is claimed to offer a range of 375km while the larger 39.4kWh battery will be offering 456km of range on a single charge.

The Mahindra SUV XUV400 is capable to offer 0 to 100kmph in 8.3 seconds and the electric vehicle is having a top speed of 150kmph. The Mahindra SUV XUV400 EV is featuring 3 driving modes including Fun, Fast and Fearless.

It is also coming with a 7.2kW charger and it can charge the electric vehicle from 0 to 100% in 6 hours and 30 minutes which is pretty impressive.

The Mahindra SUV XUV400 is having stylish design and luxury features as well. The company is offering the vehicle with 7-inch infotainment along with AdrenoX software. It is also offering a sunroof that will add more colours to your journey. Speaking about the safety, the Mahindra SUV XUV400 has 6 airbags along with ISOFIX child seat mounts. It is also coming with connected car tech, disc brakes on all four wheels, alloy wheels, LED DRLs, and leatherette seats, among others.

Pricing and availability

The company has launched the Mahindra SUV XUV400 in India at an introductory price of ₹15.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and it is the pricing of the EC with basic 3.3kW charging capability while the same variant with 7.2kW charging is having a price of ₹16.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and the EL variant gets a price of ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is worth mentioning that the pricing is available for the first 5,000 bookings and might be increased later. You can book the vehicle from January 26 and the shipping is expected to start by the end of the first quarter of 2023.

It will be available in the colour options such as Arctic Blue, Everest White, Napoli Black, Infinity Blue, and Galaxy Grey.
