Austrian based motorcycle brand KTM has confirmed that the company is working on a brand new 500CC engine platform and the same will be introduced in both the naked and adventure variants of the company. Having said that, the new 500CC bikes engine will be developed with the joint effort of its partner brand Bajaj Auto which also has a 48% share in the KTM motorcycle brand and the engine will be manufactured at the plant of Bajaj Auto in Pune. The upcoming 500cc engine is also expected to power the naked and adventure models of the company and it will come with a parallel twin, liquid cooled motor, and this suggests that an all new chassis for the mid-size machines.
