Hyundai Venue Launched With iMT Gearbox

Hyundai the very popular carmaker’s has launched its new vehicle on the roads of India and it is dubbed as Hyundai Venue which is actually a subcompact SUV and coming with Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT). The new latest manual transmission Technology basic the vehicle of the South Korean automobile makers is coming with SX and the SX(O) variants, and the company has also launched new Sport Trim for the vehicle and that is coming in both petrol as well as the diesel options. The newly launched Hyundai Venue is coming with iMT Gearbox and the same allows clutch-free gear shifts with the standard H pattern gearshift lever. It offers 3 variant – SX, SX(O), and SX+, and the petrol version is coming with the 1.0 T-GDI engine is offered in all three variants, and the high-end variant that is SX+ and the same comes with the 7-speed DCT automatic transmission with the new paddle shifters.

The SX and SX(O) trim edition, similar to the regular Venue will come with the new 6-speed iMT gearbox. While the diesel option, coming in the SX and SX(O) trim, with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. It is powered by the BS6 compliant 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine which offers 98.6 bhp and 240 Nm torque.

Speaking about Hyundai Venue Sport Trim model, it features red exterior accents for grille, wheel arches and roof rails, a Sport emblem, red brake calipers, and a new dark grey bumper garnish. The company has also introduced a new Dual Tone Titan Grey with Phantom Black Roof, along with the Dual Tone Polar White with Phantom Black Roof for the Venue Sport.

Regarding the cabin, the same comes with flat-bottom steering wheel along with red stitching, it also features a new metal foot pedals, dark grey upholstery, red accents for the knobs, along with red stitching and piping for upholstery and door trims.

In terms of pricing and availability, it’s priced at ₹ 9.99 lakh and ₹ 11.08 lakh for the SX and the SX(O) variants respectively. While the new Sport Trim for the Hyundai Venue is priced between ₹ 10.20 lakh and ₹ 11.52 lakh.
