BMW X3 M40i Launched In India

The popular automobile maker BMW has officially introduced the new BMW X3 M40i on the roads of India and the same is coming with BMW’s 3.0-litre in-line six turbo-petrol engine.

Let’s start with the exterior, the latest BMW M40i features an M-specific design like the blacked-out M grille along with a darkened finish to the headlamp reflectors. It is also having 20-inch M alloy wheels as well as brakes with red-hued callipers. The latest BMW M40i is also coming with sportier bumpers and multiple darkened elements.

Getting inside the car, we can see the BMW M40i is featuring sportier carbon fibre trim inserts along with BMW M seatbelts. It is also having a panoramic glass roof along with electric-adjust front seats and driver seat memory. It is also having dual 12.3-inch displays for the touchscreen and digital driver display along with Harman Kardon sound system and the same features 360-degree cameras and more.

The new BMW M40i’s standard X3 variant is only available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine while the BMW M40i ups the ante with a 355 bhp and 500 Nm turbocharged 3.0-litre in-line six petrol engine. It is also having 8-speed automatic gearbox and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system. It is said that 0-100 kmph time of just 4.9 seconds for the X3 M40i, with the SUV capable of reaching a top speed of 250 kmph. It is also getting revised drive modes with the performance SUV gaining a new Sport+ mode.
