The popular German automotive maker BMW has unveiled its new technology and that is actually a display which is called the BMW Theatre Screen. The newly announced display is a new in-car entertainment system and the same features a 31-inch 8K display. The newly announced theatre screen will convert the back seat area into a personal theatre and BMW has unveiled a prototype of the same during the CES 2022 event.
It is showcased by fitting the display on the ceiling of the car and the same will feature an 8K resolution of 8000 x 2000 along with the support of 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Fire OS and the same will provide you to access video streaming services and other Fire TV apps and it is worth mentioning that the system has 5G connectivity support as well.
Having said that, the newly unveiled 31-inch display is also offering a touch screen capability along with small touchpad controls and the same will be available on the back doors of the car. The latest BMW Theatre Screen features surround sound using 30 speakers from Bowers & Wilkins.
The company is yet to provide any information regarding the pricing and availability of the Theatre Screen entertainment system.
