The Benelli has announced the launch of the ultimate urban cruiser 502C in the Indian market. The launch of Benelli 502C has expanded its Indian line up and now Benelli’s portfolio comprises five motorbikes. The other four Benelli motorcycles are Imperiale 400, Leoncino 500, TRK 502, and TRK 502 X. It is a direct rival to the likes of Kawasaki Vulcan S.
The Benelli 502 appears to have adopted its design from Ducati Diavel. It gets features like an LED headlight, a fully digital console, adjustable clutch lever, a floating single-piece seat, a double-barrel exhaust, and dual-channel ABS. It is built around a steel trellis frame and is available in two colour options, Matte Black and Matte Cognac Red.
In terms of hardware, it comprises upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, twin discs on the front wheel, a single rotor at the back, and 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The wheels are shod with Pirelli Angel GT tires. It has a wheelbase of 1,600mm and a ground clearance of 170mm. The motorbike comes with a 21.5-liter fuel tank.
The Benelli 502C is powered by a 500cc parallel-twin engine. The motor churns out 46.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 46Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The pre- bookings of the 502C has already started on 8 July 2021 for a token amount of Rs.10,000. The motorcycle has been priced At Rs.4.98 Lakh(ex-showroom). The custom deliveries of the cruise will begin next month.
