Tata Motors Launches Tigor Electric As XPRES-T For Fleet Segment

Tata Motors unveiled an exclusive brand named  XPRES-T for the fleet segment. The first vehicle to be launched as part of this new brand will be an electric sedan  named as XPRES Tigor EV. It is basically the rebadged Tata Tigor EV. All Tata cars under the new fleet segment will come up with the XPRES badge in order to make it different from cars that cater to the personal segment. Tata Motors by introducing this new brand targets mobility services,corporate as well as government fleet buyers.

Specifications of XPRES -T 

The new entrant XPRES- T comes with two range options 213 km and 165 km respectively.The XPRES-T EV consists of a battery of 21.5Kwh and 16.5Kwh which can be charged from 0 to 80% in 90 and 110 minutes respectively. It can charge through a fast charging  method or from any 15 A plug point normally. The brand will have multiple engine options including Internal Combustion Engine(ICE)and Electric Vehicles(EV).

The overall design of XPRES -T remains identical to the regular models. But what makes the new brand different from others is its couple of key changes, an enclosed grille with blue highlights, a charging socket inside the front grille,the central air con vent with blue bezels,two driving modes such as Eco and sport, Harman sourced stereo system with bluetooth connectivity and LED taillamps and 14 inch alloy steel wheels.

It has a range of features including a Digital touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple card play, automatic climate control and electrical wing mirrors.

As far as safety is concerned, it is equipped with dual airbags,ABS with EBD,seatbelt reminder and Rear parking sensors etc.

 Price and Availability

The company announced that the all new brand XPRES-T electric sedan will be soon available at select dealerships in the country for bookings.The price of the new brand has not yet been confirmed.
